Gong Practitioner Training
An inspirational 12-month practitioner training
led by Danielle North
Learn to hold space
through sound
Developed by Gong Master and senior gong tutor for the College of Sound Healing, Sheila Whittaker in 2010, the Gong Practitioner Training Course© is a CMA-certificated programme delivered over five weekend modules across one year. You will leave the training with the knowledge, tools and an internationally recognised qualification to practise as a Gong Practitioner - ready to offer therapeutic sessions both individually and in group settings.
The Journey
01/ Comprehensive
Training
02/ Choosing Your
Gong
The course includes 70 hours of formal training delivered over five weekends across 12 months, supported by guided practice, reading, coursework and mentoring between each module to deepen your understanding.
By the second weekend you will need your own gong. We will guide you through choosing the right instrument during the first module, ensuring you find a gong that suits both your budget and your practice.
03/ Practise Builds Confidence
04/ Personal Transformation
Throughout the training, the frequencies of the gongs will support your own emotional clearing and energetic alignment, helping you become grounded, present and confident in holding a safe, supportive space for others.
Between modules you will complete coursework and case studies, giving you regular opportunities to practise, refine your technique and build the confidence to offer sound experiences with skill and integrity.
Rooted In Practice
You will be guided throughout the course by Danielle North - an experienced sound healer and intuitive, supportive tutor. Danielle creates a space where personal transformation and professional development go hand in hand.
This training is more than learning to work with gongs - it is a year of deep practice and inner work.
Before we can guide others in healing, we begin to do the work for ourselves. This training gives you the time and tools to do exactly that.
Why Choose The Gong School
01 / Premium Venue
Our countryside venues prioritise space so that you can hear the gongs, plus comfort and safety, so you can show up as you are and fully engage in learning.
02 / Expert Facilitation
Led by experienced tutors who have travelled the path and also know how to hold space, encourage participation, and keep things moving with purpose.
03 / Collaborative Energy
Connection is a core part of the practitioner experience. You will learn just as much from the group as from the content itself and have fun along the way.
